Winter Hits Willow Wood
Some of the heaviest snow in recent memory hit us just before Christmas. Since Christmas Eve there have been snow falls every day accumulating to over 12 inches in depth. For a community of older people in a rural area often dependent on cars, it has been a nightmare getting around the park to reach the main road. The combined efforts of the residents and belately, the park owner, have just about kept things moving but as soon as one fall is cleared along comes he next - and more is forecast for the New Year.
